goodwill campaign
Graphic Design
The objective of this project was a comprehensive rebranding of a designated company from a provided list, coupled with the creation of impactful advertisement slogans and cohesive promotional materials.
I selected Goodwill as it presented a unique opportunity for transformation, possessing limited existing advertisements and requiring significant enhancement. The primary aim was to redefine the brand to resonate with diverse audiences beyond its usual demographic, injecting fresh energy and relevance into its messaging.
Going into my creative process, my vision for these ads was to evoke a vintage, chic, and luxurious ambiance. Drawing inspiration from the archived pages of vintage 90s Prada and Chanel magazines, along with photography concepts from "The Carrie Diaries" TV show, I crafted a distinctive aesthetic. Utilizing two friends as models, I curated their looks with pieces sourced from my thrifting and vintage shopping finds. Through a combination of photography and meticulous Photoshop editing, I aimed to encapsulate the essence of a 90s fashion ad campaign.
Process
The selection of slogans for the print advertisements was informed by the emotional resonance experienced by individuals upon entering a Goodwill establishment. The abundance of variety within the store, marked by an extensive array of items to peruse and select from, underscores the unique and boundless opportunities for discovery. A key emphasis is placed on the ability to uncover one-of-a-kind pieces, amplifying the distinctive and enriching shopping experience offered by Goodwill.
